The Spokesman Review recently interviewed our Executive Director, Ariane Schmidt about The Affordable Connectivity Program. This program, established in 2021 under the bipartisan infrastructure bill, subsidizes internet access for families who live under 200% of the federal poverty line. While it was originally funded with 14.2 billion, the money will run out at some point and Broadlinc is leading the way in Spokane County to find ways to offer reliable and affordable internet.
